Location » The highest tower of the Kingdom of Heaven. It is located on the border of the Kingdom of Heaven and the Occupied State of Eden. Her father promises that “when she is fit, ” she will be crowned Queen of Eden, be granted her freedom from her tower and move to the Palace of Eden. . . However it's pretty well-known he has no intentions of doing so.

♔ Birth ♔
Flora is the youngest child of God (King Jehovah) and the Hebrew Goddess Asherah.
She was born when her mother was on a trip to Eden (which she ruled before her death.)
After she was born Asherah and God moved to Eden while Michael controlled Heaven with his Father’s guidance from afar. They lived there a few years after the “Apple Incident” and only moved after Asherah’s death.
♔ Her Tower ♔
The Tower of Heaven was designated an off-limits “storage” tower for the relics of the once flourishing Eden--the riches stolen during the Invasion. The floor is cold and cobblestone, covered with scattered, tarnished old coins and jewels.
It is a hall of treasure and yet a cold, dark, and brutal prison.
When she was a child, her tower was much more comfortable than it is now. She once had a hay mattress, a wardrobe of gowns, and walls of bookshelves. However, not too long ago Father caught her running to Earth again and he dragged her home. When he had her locked away again he took away everything.
She has no bed, only a threadbare blanket and a single tattered cloak. The tower is one, single, dark room with a small hearth with a rusted pot upon it. There is a small window, a desk, a cedar chest, and a single chair. It is cold and dark--lit only by a candelabra.
She owns but two gowns - both tattered. On days father allows her to go to court he forces her into fancy gowns as if to hide his wrongdoings.
♔ Childhood ♔
From a young age Flora showed kindness to everything and everyone she met, even to those who did her wrong (she still does.)
Most of Flora’s days as a child were spent the same way they are spent now, locked away in her chambers to keep her ‘safe’ from the world.
Flora was once very close with her Father when she was physically a toddler, but when her mother died ‘mysteriously’, God grew cold and dark and locked her in a tower and became a cruel, corrupt, and abusive tyrant.
When Flora was physically eight-years-old she began sneaking out her window and questioning her father’s morals.
♔ Childhood II - The Occupation of Eden ♔
As mentioned before, Flora was taken from Eden and locked away in a tower in Heaven after her mother was murdered by her father. She was four years old when she was locked away and her father’s armies invaded Eden, pillaged her rightful home, and took Eden as a war territory. Along the way, they scorched the earth. Legend says that when Heaven’s armies burnt the fields of flowers and orchards, the soldiers began the fire by burning the murdered Queen’s body.
She longs for Eden everyday. She longs to save Eden from tyranny and go home so she can try to remember her past. . .
♔ Memory ♔
Flora cannot remember her mother or Eden, her father’s made sure of it. She’s haunted in her dreams by strange flashes of her mother’s auburn hair and the Gardens but they’re nothing more than glimpses made up by her mind.
She doesn’t remember anything from before she was locked away. Her earliest memory is the Invasion of Eden; the day The Occupation of Eden began---the screams of genocide and burning villages.
↯[Life changing events in her childhood] ↯
➤ When Flora was four-years-old her mother died mysteriously. Flora has little memory of her mother but keeps her close to her heart nonetheless. Although, she later found out that Asherah was actually poisoned by her father, as he saw the Queen as a threat to his power. Everyone loved her too much.
➤ When Flora was only eight-years-old, her Father married her off to a prince of another kingdom (who was also older and her best friend.) The marriage barely lasted a week before Flora sabotaged it by playing tricks on her 'husband's' father. The tricks she played angered her in-law and he broke off the marriage. When Flora's father heard of what she had done he erupted into a fit of rage and tore off her wings. She lived centuries without them and has only recently been made a new pair by her brother, Michael. They do not function.
♔ Blood ♔
Although she is immortal and cannot die, she can bleed and feel pain just as a human can, however, she bleeds more than a human and also feels more intense pain than a human can. For example, when she gets a paper cut, it bleeds as though she had lost a limb and it feels like she lost a limb as well. She is immortal, not invincible.
Flora's blood is often hunted and sought after because of its value and abilities. Her blood is liquid gold and it provides the gift of immortality to whomever mixes their blood with hers.
♔ Education ♔
Despite spending most of her days locked away in a guarded tower, God has hired a tutor to come to her chamber daily. This tutor’s name is Septimus and he teaches her English, Ancient Latin Literature, as well as Mathematics.
Flora adores Septimus because most days he is the only person (besides Michael and her abusive Father) that she gets to see. He is the one kindness in her life.
♔ Time Spent in France ♔
Flora was sent to Earth by her Father in the year 1770. She was sent to France in order to study fine arts as well as the French language.
She was there from 1770 to 1832. From 1770 to 1793 Flora lived in Versailles with the King and Queen. When King Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette were killed as a result of the French Revolution she was sent to live with a rich Vicomte and his family.
In 1830 Flora met a young student called Enjolras. Enjolras led a group of young revolutionaries called the Les Amis de l’ABC (the ABC) who strived to overthrow the new monarchy in order to make France better for the common people. Shortly after meeting him, Flora joined his cause and began to sneak out her window every night to attend meetings. Enjolras became a mentor and a teacher to her as she discovered the concept of free-will. He was like a brother to her in every way. She carries him in her heart always.
Then, in June of 1832 everything came crashing down. On June 5, 1832 Enjolras and the ABC built a barricade in Paris and took on the National Guard.
All but one of her friends died that day, including her first love, a student called Courfeyrac . She watched as they all died, unable to save them due to the rules of her magic. She held Courfeyrac as he took his last few breaths before fleeing the scene to hide from the National Guard.
After the barricade, she packed her things and disappeared into the night to return back to Heaven.
Powers && Personality
♔ Powers ♔
Flora is an incredibly powerful creature. Being the daughter of a God and Goddess and Life Itself, she’s full of potential. Due to this, her father fears she may be a match for him one day which is part of why he’s locked her away. He’s never told Flora anything about her powers and has even told her she’s powerless and weak. He’s made sure she’s never practiced her powers. He wants to keep her dumb.
Although she is powerful, she’s convinced otherwise.
Due to her lack of training, Flora tends to lose control of her powers in stressful situations, often leading to the ground trembling or windows shattering at her cries.

♔ Personality ♔
Flora is a sweet, caring girl who is always willing to help people when they are in need. At times, she can be very motherly, but most of the time she acts like a child.
She is bubbly, gentle-hearted, giddy, and playful. However, she also can be very emotional at times and is very easy to upset, she is very sensitive.
Flora is also a very sad and nervous being who tends to stutter when she meets new people as well as when she is stricken with anxiety from years of neglect and loneliness.
She cares more about other people than she does herself to the point where it's probably unhealthy.
